1. Service Description

DoverPC provides computer repair, optimization, and technical support services. These services are delivered either remotely (via secure internet connection across Canada) or locally (in-home visits within Norfolk County, Ontario). By scheduling a session or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. User Responsibilities

To ensure successful service delivery, you agree to:

  • Data Backup: You are solely responsible for backing up all data, software, and files on your computer before we begin any service. DoverPC is not responsible for any data loss.
  • System Access: Provide necessary access to your computer, either by installing our remote support tool or allowing physical access during an in-home visit.
  • Cooperation: Provide accurate information about the issues you are experiencing and cooperate with our technicians during the troubleshooting process.
  • Authorization: Ensure you have the legal right to authorize repairs and modifications to the computer system being serviced.

3. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DoverPC and its technicians shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards and other standard payment methods. Prices for our services are subject to change without notice. If a service cannot be completed or an issue cannot be resolved, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund or waive the fee entirely.

5. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the services (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

6. Intellectual Property

The website, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DoverPC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

7. Warranty Disclaimers

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Termination of Service

We may terminate or suspend access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
